Ooooooo that's got me excited! I have a whiskey Gannon hitting the block in a few weeks. Is that the rust ribbon? I'm still undecided on the ribbon color.

It is rust ribbon. I looked at three different choices, but this was the one for me.

Thank you to those who took time to write on the black clear nutria Stetson yesterday. So hard to keep up with this thread, much less to comment. I appreciate your thoughts. Anthony, yes, I believe this is the hat I wore to NYC in May. We'll have to get together again for a longer conversation.

I have a terrifying volume of pictures posted to this forum - the folder on my computer contains almost 4000 photos. Today, just a look back to this date in 2012, 2013 and 2014. I am wearing the same hat today that I wore on Sept. 28 2014. I wear it a lot in the late spring and early fall... another one that was discovered by RLK's keen eyes and thankfully didn't fit his slightly larger head.

A rare Stetson 5X Clear Beaver Quality with silver hat band by Ambrose Roanhorse. Both circa 1940.

Old unused baku hat body that was blocked and finished by Graham at Optimo Hats.

Dobbs Cross Country heather felt mix, probably late 1930s.

Beautiful Whippet, Eric. I recently ran across a similar Stetson 3X with that brim treatment, but the stitching was visible on the top of the brim. Pics here.
