Michael, that Champ looks sweet! Love it, man. Great jacket, too!

That jacket is a champ as well Michael!

Thanks Harv and Bob. The jacket was made at the Amana Woolen Mills in Amana Iowa, I think in the 70s, but not sure. Sort of the lightweight cousin to the Filson Double Mac I picked up last week in that they are both caped.

One of the nicest beaters I've seen!!

Thank you sir. I'm enjoying it.

Good morning. Morning chores found me in a Simonds Cap.

Off to a quick meeting wearing a vtg. Stetson Whippet. Lovely hat with a unique brim stitch. (Thanks to Fedora Lounge member Buler for believing that I could provide a worthy home to this grand fedora.) The lovely brown felt is not done justice in the pics this morning. I will just have to wear it more often so as to luck into better pics-thats my story and I plan to stick with it.

Not me, but the new guy in training (my grandson) decided he couldn't wear his pajamas without his lid. Had to post it...
Apologies, but I don't have the specs on this hat. The wearer is 20 months of age, and is definitely one of US..

My grandson is a 1 year today and he has a nice Resistol fedora waiting for him. If it were my size...well you know.

I can't wait till he'll actually wear it. Right now if I put it on his head he just wants to pull it off and look at it.

Pine tree down behind my garage this morning.Missed the garage and didn't hurt the fence. It has a vine on it,I think it's Virginia creeper. Was afraid it might be poison ivy.Anyway put on another of my Stagecoach conversions.Looks like the chain saw will be put to work this afternoon.

Looks like it could be a tad tricky getting the tree out without damaging the fence. Good luck.

Spiffy bit of ribbon on that conversion.

Well, he's starting off fussy, and that's good! He can't be allowing just any lid on his head without first approval. That's a great sign, Roger!

What a GREAT convo, D-Man! A classic contemporary with vintage undertones!!

From the photo, I didn't see any poison ivy. The vines look to have five leaves. I got into it very badly once many years ago, (never remember seeing it growing up in northern VT, so that was my first experience) and became a quasi expert in identifying it in the wild. Once was enough. Haven't done it again since. Stay VIGILENT!!
