Congrats to the grad, and the whole family, Terry! That never happens without a lot of great support. She just may be your ticket to retirement!! ALL the BEST TO HER!Great parade of lids over the last few days. Everyone looks great!
Lids of a different sort. She finally graduated! She was the top Valedictorian out of four in her school....a 4.248 GPA! She'll be attending Denison University in the Fall, and she was also awarded a $100,000 Founder's Scholarship to go there. I'm definitely the proud Grandfather!....that's an OR I'm wearing, btw.
"Swingin School"...Bobby Rydell

Congratulations to your granddaughter.
Thank you Manfred, and you're welcome. Always a pleasure to see your posts.Congrats proud Grandfather, you both look
great, I feel with you!
And thanks for the kind words Terry!
Ha! Thanks AnA! Yup. I'm the grandfather, early 60's.Whoa, wait a sec. Grandfather? You look young enough to be her father, sir. Man, I HAVE been gone a while. [emoji13]
Sounds like you had a great time Eric. Great hats and caps. Brews don't look too shabby either [emoji41]Good evening. Early afternoon I visited a local micro brewery - Harriet Brewing Co, for draft beer and some music. Lightweight wool/silk cap was my headgear. Be it a Dark Abbey or Occulist (Dopelboch) the cap was perfect. Beer matters!
Grand Old Days and then Mpls. Farmer's Market in a Gannon (light weight silver belly felt) fedora. Vegtables matter! An early dinner at a local cafe and then on to the main music show.
This evening I went out to listen to Catfish Keith, http://www.catfishkeith.com/index.html . I sat in the audience and visited with Dakota Dave Hull ( http://dakotadavehull.com ) , Phil Heywood ( http://www.philheywood.com ), Matt Fox ( http://www.mattfoxmusic.com ) and Lonesome Dan Kase ( http://www.lonesomedan.com ). World Class acoustic blues musicians listening to a truly class act - Catfish Keith. Bo Carter, Clifton Cheiner, Blind Johnson, Buddy Guy, Townsend, Edwards, Spence, and Leadbelly are all artists included in his huge song lists. Great music.
Catfish Keith's hat sat so he did not perspire too much in it. ( Vtg. Dobbs)
Cool weather jamming (outside on the patio) had me switch to a cap.
I have the blues tonight!
Wishing all the best, Eric -

I second that, well and truly.First order of business this morning is to congratulate Terry and especially to congratulate his granddaughter. Good Job!!
I second that too, couldn't have put it better myself.Next up is a big thanks David, Bob, Joao, Harv, Hurricane Jack, and Charlie for the kind words, and everyone for the like(I think that post may have set a record) and I'd like to echo Bamaboots remarks on what a great community this place is.
Janyška probably late 1930s to mid 1940s.
You will have to keep an eye out for a couple of Brit tourists. We have visited the US so many times, yet we've never made it to the west coast, although we would like to. We've never been north of the Mason/Dixon but again we would like to. But we have been all over the Southern States, or fly over country as we have heard it called. The English accents often amuse but after so many trips, we've learned to say "Y'all" like a couple of natives. You will know us when you see us, can't mistake the shirts. We both talked about the FL community and that's what it is to me and Dale. Everyone of you that I've met here have all been so kind and after awhile it seems as if we get to know each other a little bit beyond the hats were wearing. It was great to finally meet up with a member and it's something I hope to do again with many of you here.
My congrats too. Awesome GPA !Awesome Terry! Congrats!
I like that a lot Joao!I tryed a peak on a Stagecoach
