I got this big Ranger on the bay. It is a big beautiful old Stetson. Wonderful felt, ranks up there in touch to my Buckaroo. Leaving today and will be taking it to Chihuahua for Semana Santa. It will be my tallest, biggest hat.....They will love it down there.

I wore my Fed IV to church today. Here in Georgia this time of year you will have to dust off the pine pollen if you are out-of-doors very long.

Mid Brown Campdraft today.

I really like the mid brown on you. It definitely has a green look to it in natural light. I've got one coming from EA sometime and will be glad to get it so I can see it first hand. I've decided you can't have too many Campdrafts. They're a great hat. I've thought about ordering the bluegrass green just to say I have a complete set, but I'm not real sure I'd like the color and I haven't seen a good picture of it, at least not lately.

Great hats today, everyone.

DocS and Portalan, you both seem to make any hat look good.

Rusty, the Covington looks great. And for a pizza? I'd send Mike a pizza, but I'm concerned it might get cold before it got there and then he'd want to take a hat back for a cold pizza. lol lol

Dundee the Fed is a great choice most any time, and you can't beat a gray one.

ICop, great look. The photo with your face covered by shadows evocates some ominous character... like one of those evil lawmen in Stephen King's novels...

Rusty, another stunner. I would say that thin ribbon is even thinner than usual?

Portolan, I know this has been said, but that jacket is excellent. It compliments your hats very well.

two pics of (early) 1930's raffia hat

I say early due to the type of grosgrain ribbon cockcades on each side of this hat are shown in a book I have on 1920s hat trims. Its interesting that the veiling (what's left of it) is attached into the center of the cockcades. This hat was from an evilBay seller in the UK.

The first pic shows good detail of the grosgrain cockcade trim:

This second pic was added in cuz' DH (who takes the pics) thought I looked cute with my head turned back towards him looking over my shoulder. As one may observe here I'm trying to grow my eyebrows out to be more 40s in style than the much thinner 30s look. Hey, I have my earrings on this time!

Goose - I know you've been hesitant to embrace your new CEO, but this photo proves that it looks great on you. I predict you'll warm to it.
