I was at JJ one time this winter when he was there ... he was taking pictures outside ... shared a brief hello and handshake
later that night I saw him at a bar with some friends

he doesn't seem to be the most sociable fellow

he has never one time answered a private message I've sent but does sometimes participate in thread discussions with vague one or two word statements

I'd be a little smug if I was the lead designer for Stetson, too. He mentioned in a recent Instagram post he took a new position, whatever that is.

Maybe I'll apply for his old one. Then - I - can ignore the rabble here in the Lounge.

Hey Joao you should have run the marathon wearing one of your Tom Mix !!! That would have been on the news !!

No... that bridge is a lot of windy and can blow things very very far. It's right in the wind tunnel that comes from the Tagus river mouth and most of the time the bridge swings (it was swinging in the middle!).
I don't want to loose my hat and that one have a stampede string, so was the chosen for the task. Anyway seems no one wore one (I have not seen a person with a wide brim hat there) and people stared at me as "look another weirdo".

This is a newer model. Picked it up in NYC at JJ Hats maybe 4 to 5 years ago before they had a falling out with Borsallino and stopped carrying the brand. Not exactly sure of the color name. The color matches exactly what Biltmore calls "Fawn"
