Late '50s Stetson No. 1 Quality, reworked from a western into a fedora.

What's the brim width? Just a teardrop or C-crown? I have several westerns that I'm not wearing now, but not crazy on cutting the brim width down. Your's looks great!

Jack, thanks. I'm generally not in favor of cutting brims, either, but I'll wear this one more like this. It has soft felt, not stiff at all. It had a 3 1/4 inch raw edge brim and I used a 1/2 inch brim trimmer to take it down to 2 3/4. (Don't tell Joao!) I re-blocked the crown and put a diamond crease in it.

It had a 3 1/4 inch raw edge brim and I used a 1/2 inch brim trimmer to take it down to 2 3/4. (Don't tell Joao!) I re-blocked the crown and put a diamond crease in it.

Don't care much about 3 1/4" brimmed hats so I'll not complain.
