Looks absolutely great Mark! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!!Well, another hat prompted by a Lounger's pics. Matt is beginning to convince me that a Homburg isn't just for more formal attire.
This Dobbs has the nicest felt of any of the hats I own, and I'm glad that ofcoursemyhorse sold it to me. It's just a beautiful hat. The liner is pristine, but the brim binding has a few rubbed spots, which are the ONLY issues with the hat. This one always gets positive comments.

Wow! That is a fabulous lid, my friend! What is the brim width?Going with the C&K Forty. View attachment 43119
Thanks Harv, Bama and Mike.Wow! That is a fabulous lid, my friend! What is the brim width?
I love it. I thought that the brim was wider than your standard. Thanks Harv, Bama and Mike.
It has a 3 inch brim, Harv. It is the widest brim hat that I own, except for a couple westerns that rarely come out to play.
Today is my ca. 1960 Stetson OR/Strat (it doesn't have a model name on the sweatband):
It's my only Long Oval, and fits very lightly and comfortably.
Thank you, sir. The silverbelly beast came to me via frussell here at FL. I'd put him on to a pair of 6 3/4 Strats I'd found in a vintage store here, perfect for his kids, and he sold this one to me at a bargain price. "Royal De Luxe Stetson" (it reads just like that) is on the sweat. It's funny -- it's also the one of my hats that can go dressy with a topcoat or sportjacket, yet also go with jeans and boots. No wonder the OR/Strat has proved so popular over decades. That's beautiful, Benz.
Great Stratoliner. Modern, or vintage?Good morning everyone. Strat for this fine cool morning. I just ordered a Stetson Temple sage color. Can't wait until it comes in.

Thank you, Alan. I did back in 2013, when I first stumbled upon the hat. Here is the link: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/index.php?posts/1715859That looks like a wonderful hat... have you posted more images on the C&K thread?
