More of the blue onyx cavanagh- my "beater". Very versatile- pinstripe db peak lapel to brown herringbone ivy sack w/out batting an eye.

I never thought I'd be posting so many pictures of myself (or my clothes) online but

I definitely tend to wear some things others might not- 4 wildly varying patterns at once, for example (or an ascot, as my friends enjoyed pointing out...every 5 minutes...all day long)

And, since it's one of the two bespoke shirts I own (and i'm a lanky 6'3), I thought I might as well show off the perfect cuff length- with a little extra room built in for the watch, of course....also, my toilet.

The poster hangs at the door to the men's room and says "Fellas".

This is my favorite hat (extra long oval). The sweatband says Cavanagh and the hat seems to have a "Cavanagh edge". The liner says Churchill. Is this from the early 60's?

I wore my panama bob montecristi out for the first time this year and for the first time with the red ribbon on. Last week we got several inches of snow, and now I'm on spring break with perfect 75* weather! Wearing the straw hat just made me feel so happy that spring is coming!

JT, Looks like this OUTSTANDING Stetson got lost in the shuffle today. That is one beautiful lid and you wear it well!

Wil, You have got it goin' on. Those widerbrims and taller crowns are definitely in your wheelhouse.

Super-sweet Mallory, Bolthead! I've noticed the wider brims are starting to grow on you! Which reminds me... I've got to dig something up--an old project--out of the basement.:D

Cheers,
Tom

I'm really liking these wider brims more and more, but I'll never give up my Stingies. [huh]
It might be that I think that most men look better in wide brims, but I have to say that you do look like you belong in wide brims. :)
