A nostalgic touch of Fleetwood Mac?

Good morning lady and gentlemen.

This morning found me wearing the vtg. Stetson Hempstead. It is a very unique fedora. The lightweight felt has many rows of stitching circling the brim. The very high crown is emphasized by the terrific ribbon treatment. The ribbon colors were chosen by a practiced designers eye, well constructed and sewn to the felt with expertise. Excellent design and execution.

It fits comfortably as the wide leather band works as designed. I left the house with the brim with a cupped back and snapped front and got home with a brim down all around. The Hempstead fedora has chosen. This oldster deserves the right to have choice. Brim down all around it is.

It's nothing special, just the hat I always wear with my trench coat. Hence the name
The colours match, and it's sturdy enough to handle a bit of rain.

Love that contrasting brim binding. The hat aint "half bad" either.

Alan - I absolutely love the look of that Strat .... Reminds me of my grandfathers hat... A Strat just like that and it was one of only two hats he owned and he wore it everyday .
In my opinion that is how a hat is supposed to look.
