Yesterday ended with my Carlson homburg but it got so hot I ended up wishing I had worn a straw on my walk.

Today being the somewhat traditional kick-off to felt season, I went to my first felt hat I bought.

I appreciate the compliment, though I'm not sure it's deserved. My idea for dressing for the office is matching reds with blacks and greys, burgundy with greens and tans, etc. Just grab a pressed shirt from the closet, find a tie that suits me, then look for clothes that blend. There's quite a few loungers who show a great sense of style in their photos. I believe mine is a sad comparison in may ways.

I *do* appreciate the compliment, though, and it made me smile.

Thank you! It's difficult to describe that colour. I'd say a very dark steel blue? It's also hard to photograph because of the velour finish.
The ribbon is mauve with a grey detail in the bow. But it has a coppery sheen depending on the light.

A second Bohemian Hess-Hat from Steve, also blue but darker than the Radio with a lovely gazelle finish. Wasn't it sweet of them to tuck a small felt heart in the self-ribbon/bow? :kiss:
