Early '50s Open Road today.
Absolutely love this hat.
The pics make it look gray but there are some beautiful green undertones that I guess only show up in person

David; Very sharp cap. Styl'n cap and glass frame combo. I look forward to see your future posts with this close relative to my posted cap. Texas weather is excellent proofing ground for a linen cap.

Bob; Your hemp hat is excellent and is complimented with the pug you selected.

Anthony; The OR and Stratoliner, thin ribbon look is working for you. It stops and make me ponder the wear and care given to the vintage hats. Especially when I see the inside of a pristine vintage hat like yours.

Best, Eric -

thanks Eric
I'm definitely a T.A.R. guy all the way
nothing against the wide ribbon ... love them as well and have many of them....
but the thin ribbon has my heart indeed

Bob - that Milan Hemp is incredible. Wonder if Peter Bros still has that hat available :)
And Moon . . . Love the OR. Great color.

Yes Ming. Absolutely. THANK YOU! It was custom made to my specs from their Milan Hemp hat bodys. Ps if u haven't heard its $100 to Fellow Loungers. Phone calls and emails are much better than their website.

Fruno, Moe, Bob, Moon, Eric, David, very nice display of lids, guys. You all look great.

It's a warm and muggy afternoon here in Central Ohio. I'm wearing a late '40s / early '50s Stetson Nutria fedora conversion...same hat I'm wearing in my avatar.

Got my great grandfather's hand me down Stephen L. Stetson on today. Gotta love the 30s hats. It's been in the family since his father so it's cool to have it.

Great hats today. And look at Harv. So disciplined to only take one lens. I can never make myself do that. That would be like taking only one hat. :)

Waiting out a soon-to-be rain delay at my son's ballgame in one of my few straws... my Bailey Hanson "Litestraw." One of my more comfortable hats.
