Thanks Harv.

I've haven't had time to visit the forum much in the last week or so, and wow, I missed a ton of great hats. I don't have enough time to mention them all, but AnA, I love those boaters! great job, they look great on you.

A two-hat day. A friend visited from Arizona. We went to the Levi shop for an alteration on my Type II Trucker jacket. Cap by Barry from some of my LVC 501's (1955)

He needed a hat. So we went to JJ's. His is a Capas, mine a Stetson Whippet in straw.

You and your friend are nicely hatted, Greg. Excellent choices!

David, you look like you're set up nicely for the Texas summer.

I'm back after a couple of days away from the Lounge. Penneys Marathon straw today.

Joao, you inspired me today! Resistol Western today. (well, it actually just came in the mail, but I did have it on my head today).
Looks great Scott ;)

Joao, each one is better than the last! That gray Stagecoach is sweet!
I don't know. I like them all!

Hi

I haven't been around too much recently, but have been keeping an eye on this thread. It's great to see such excellent hats, and fun to watch the gradual switch from felt to straw as the weather warms.

I missed the memo about the Sahara hat with rust ribbon, so if I'm not too late, here's mine:

Cheers

Greg(UK)

Updated with a slightly better photo, my arms are too short for selfies!

Good morning. A northern inversion, strong cold wind blowing from Canada over Lake Superior, cooled us off over night. Morning temps in upper 50'F and strong breeze have switching from an Akubra CD to a Cordova Cap.

Preparing to break out straw hats later, Eric-

Happy Friday! Greg, that park brings back Queens memories. Do they still have a guy in green in charge? We used to call them parkies (though I've never written it before, not sure how it would be spelled). I spent most of my childhood in one of those on 77th st.

Older now. The hats have aged more gracefully.

Alan, for NYC parks, they have drastically reduced the number of folks in green. I see them only in the "flagship" parks like Central Park, Prospect Park, and Flushing Meadows Park.

Post 1979 there is a new job category, "Urban Park Rangers". They have law enforcement status w/I the parks' geographical areas. They wear brown. The little park in my photo is a playground across the street from my building.

I like your gracefully aged hat with the almost flat brim!

I am attending an afternoon webinar as I type. (Some good reminders, but no new info. I will complete the session in respect of the presenter.) I am taking advantage of the on-line pretense by sipping coffee at my local coffee shop. Wearing a Baracuta and a VS Wanderer (light weight granite felt).

Everyone is looking so well hatted today.

G-that Penney's straw is wonderful. great pug on that
Ted-Looking great! I've got to get a hat with that rust colored ribbon, it goes superbly with the sahara colored hat
S4C-You'll be the sharpest looking guy at the food truck by far
Greg-the variety of caps you have is amazing! Have you ever counted?
Hato-the Artlite is stupendous! Is it really significantly lighter?
SBG-Well done as always, and a three hat day by lunch time already
Alan-the Supernatural is just that and a proper amount of brim for a summer hat
Moon-the Bluegrass Camp Draft is always great but your daughter steals the show! What a cutey
