John, great looks

David, I really enjoy how the 25s look, and the more I see then in use the more in tempted to nab one for myself. Great choice!

G, the Mahoot color is far beyond words. It's perfect

Che, everyone is looking great! Cool lids for some cool dudes

Greg, awesome!

Richard, yours is great as well!

Roger, great looking lid! I really like the fence adornments

Brother, looks great on ya

Alan, I always enjoy seeing that one. Thanks for perking my appetite. Looks like a swell time!

Joao, I really think the 5x takes the cake. Great ribbon

Chi, sweet hat, and very nice A-2!

Cheating a little here, these are from yesterday afternoon/early evening

Our doggie walk by the Nashua canal - Akubra Tablelands. You can see we got caught in a little shower along the way.

The S25s are pretty variable in felt quality - the older the better (like a lot of hats) in general. Newer 25s tend to be pretty stiff. Find a good one and they are great hats.

I've bought and sold several of them and kept three that I like.

The mid ribbon (the ribbon is probably not original to the hat, but very well done and exactly matches the brim binding)

A late 40's Open Road style (previously owned by Rabbit)

Mid-60's western S25

It would be nice if some other colour choices came around. The only non-silverbelly S25 I had was a pale blue OR style - Perry (Hatophile) is the current owner.

Jeepers, very snazzy hats/caps and some brilliant NEW VS fedoras. Cheers!

Back home to Minnesota yesterday evening. I awoke to a list including yard chores and a hardware store run. My vtg. Dobbs cap and my vtg. Lee All-American (buckskin) were hat toppings for the morning.

Went for a late lunch and wore my vtg. Adams fedora (silver belly).

Went out for a late afternoon hike. Wore my VS silverbelly fedora. This hat was inspired by the Adams above.

Because I trimmed my beard and hair, I trimmed a brim.
No, I couldn't trim my brims.
So this Resistol BR "20" with 3" brim. Nice felt but too small brim :(
