Happy Friday! It's a stunning warm fall day in Buffalo... a good day for a special hat. Lovingly restored by Josh and generously traded by Garrett, this one presents almost white.

Brother CF, that Snowy is perhaps the finest-looking one around here in a while, my friend. Sweet looking lid, with just the right amount of patina!

Alan you are right! A special hat for sure, The Raw Boss is duly dazzling, Dude!

Thank you! This hat is good for my posture.

Perry, thank you... I've had some good fortune in the thrift shops. This soft Zegna is one of my favs. It was five dollars.

David, very nice color for the day!

Perry, I really enjoy that one! Nice shirt too!

Greg, it seems to be that you are able to wear any style of hat! Great choices!

Charlie, I really enjoy that ribbon color!

Harv, that is some awesome looking felt!

Eric, exquisite minty cool marathon!

Brother, and a fine one at that!

Alan, absolutely stunning!

Like Alan, I too choose a light color hat. In whatever light condition this hat looks always brighter than it is and I can't get enough of it! Love this 7XCB.

Too many great hats to comment on individually, but a shout out to the Moss-men just because it's my favourite hat colour :)

50's UK made Stetson for me today (brim's a bit short for a swoop ;) ):

Gorgeous older Stetson Justin. You have a great collection of those early ones.
I like your nice, bright Stetson Joao. Well done brim and crease.
Nice short brim Richard, tie, shirt and jacket look good as well.

So many great hats indeed, Alan's western does stick out.
Had to go to the Bank to tell them off and move an account to another, so tried to look normal.

And thanks for the positive comments on the OR, leaving it brim up

Wearing my mushroom picking Barmah Hat again today! Picked over 50 pounds of buttons and found another turkey feather! Before anyone says something it is not a plume! I think that is how it is spelled!

Alan, the Barbisio Titan Perugia - not only does it look like a luscious felt, but the photo has the lighting and subtlety to display it. Is that an iPhone 6 photo? If so, then maybe we ought to have an "iPhone hat photo tips" thread!

Thanks for the kind comments on the great white Stetson... much appreciated!

Greg, I thought I had started a thread some years back on hat photography, but I may have dreamt it. Yes, I have moved to an iPhone 6+ which bests the iPhone 5 - a camera I have loved. I usually take a number of pictures, emailing the best one or two to myself and opening them in Photoshop for a little tweaking. I meant to congratulate you on your new phone when I saw your Flushing post (used to be able to get a good roast duck in Jackson Heights, but Main Street was always better). Some discussion of hat taking tips would be worthwhile, I think.
