You just have to start out with an old one, Jeff... and then talk to it nicely.
Nice start to a Friday, folks!
Harv, I'm envious of the vintage whippet, but not at the $350 price tag I've seen on eBay over the last year or so!
I'm going buckaroo hatters today.

Thank you for your opinion!Joao, I really like it as is. I would keep the hat band.
Nice picture. Here's to a happy solstice and a great weekend... :yo:
Huge crown and brim! I like it!!My compliments to all, nice start to summer, and get better Ed.
The Sunbody today to do some weeding.
Just an observation. I've been to San Francisco two times the last two weeks and didn't see one straw. Not a lot of hat wearers, of course, but the one's I saw(in the city) where mostly stingy-brimmed felts.
If TJ had a bigger head I'd be glad to help him out with those silver bellies.
If I could get my fedora brims to do that...!
David-- a very wide brim, but looks absolutely perfectly proportioned with that crease. As usual, love the pug.
Now the picture of today's hat:
This "silver dollar" Stagecoach. This color is really nice (it's kind of dark silver) and I think you all call this crease Canadian.
Don't know if I would remove this hatband and replace it with a wide black ribbon.
Looking good!Akubra CD on this rainy and cool day.
That looks a wide brim for me.It's a beautiful start to summer in New Hampshire. Out with the dogs wearing my favorite hiking hat - continuing the Akubra theme, Tablelands
It looks nice but I would love to have more brim...Resistol conversion.Took the old pick up out for a cruise on this partly sunny day.
Wine tours... I had a wine... tour... some weeks ago. Your straw looks nice.Stevie Wonder's early album title was spot on..."Hotter than July." Any excuse to sport a straw! Especially to a wine tour!
Not sure what are you saying. Maybe it's the photo angle? The hat is not backwards.Joao, that second photo almost looks like you have that hat on backwards. All the brim curl appears to be at the rear. Frank
No you wouldn't. You would feel badly trimming this one and for that decide to give it to me untouched :evil:Joao, nice Silver Dollar Stagecoach. I would love to get my hands on that and convert it to a fedora!
