Today this Stagecoach again. I do really like this color.

Nice, Joao. That Canadian crease (or maybe it is the similar PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) crease) was the hot ticket in the late '70s and early '80s. The hatband is a giveaway as to its date, too.

A bit early for straw, but...

It reached 86 here in Redford today, and what shows up in the mail? My new grey Milan Stratoliner. Liking it so far, may need one in sand (and maybe black too). I see white and beige are also both options, so 5 colors? I'll stick with a max of 3 (have a couple vintage pins runnin' 'round here somewhere, but I think they are both spoken for- did order 2 reproductions today for this and the new Cornhill Royal Deluxe Stratoliner that came in last Saturday... pics of that one still forthcoming).

I really don't know how it is called. I do like this crease. It suits well because of the high crown of Stagecoach's

Oh, I know... after reading the Royal Deluxe Stratoliner thread, I read the entire 80 some pages of the other new OC Royal Deluxe thread (thank you GTD!) and then I read the Milan Strat thread (again, I actually posted in it early on). And I'd planned to get one, that thread reminded me (love my Akubra Capricorn for really hot Wx. and was glad to see them compared in the thread). And saw your 3 (including the re-block, awesome!). So thanks for the inspiration, and for the compliment.

I hadn't bought a hat in ages, come back here, and start ordering again... Of course in fairness, it was ordering a hat first that brought me back to the Lounge this time . I do like the new open crown Strat too, but it needs a good soaking (like some have experienced, mine is a little large) and maybe a re-bash- some more steam work, only just played with it a bit so far.
