Nice looking hats today, gentlemen.

Cool pic of cool looks, Job.
Gairdner, the herringbone flat cap looks warm.
Bowlerman, I see where you got your ID. Great look on you.
That Stetson should keep you warm in the "balminess," Hato. Was watching a special on JFK last night. When he was in Ft Worth the morning he was killed, they gave him a very nice, high quality Stetson. Apparently he refused to put it on there when they gave it to him and...sadly never did get the chance to.
Looking right stylish - as usual - there in your Panizza, ManofKent. I'd never heard of a Panizza but it looks quite comfortable and really brings out the colors in that sportcoat well.
DJH, that's a fine looking Borso. I'm going to have to look into getting one of those someday.

Well, gotta run. Have a great day and weekend all.

I love your FP John and the little guy looks cool too.
Nice bowler Jeff, I assume that picture is not very recent.

Hatguy, I remember hearing that about JFK's hat, it's hard to believe it's been 50 years now since the assassination.

TJones - Panizza made great hats up until 1981 when the factory closed (now a hat museum). I've not tried the new Panizza's but I've heard they're not bad for modern hats. The old factory ones rival Borsalino IMO. You can pick up old stock (but mainly stingies) from RMR in Italy.

David - another beautiful Borso!

Perry - you look great in white. Lovely hat.

Jeff - I'm envious of that bowler.

Gairdner - nice cap. Show your face - you haven't got much competition in the beauty stakes on here (sorry guys ;) ). I don't know of any UK custom makers of men's hats - you might need to look to the US, but they're mainly fur felt. You might find one of the UK cap making companies would consider making a tweed hat (Olney, Failsworth, James Dermot etc.) but it won't be cheap...

John - a fine looking pair, as always :)

Miamibruno - that's a real beauty.

Alan - your collection never ceases to amaze me.

------------

Thanks for everyone's comments on the Panizza. Another stingy today (must be in a stingy mood, I've just ordered one from Paddy too). This one is a SAKS which Brad has date to 70's- early 80's and is probably a revived Cavanagh/Dobbs model (it's got the welted edge). I thought it was chocolate brown, but in some lights it looks grey - I'll go with dark mink :) Bought from Liddleman up north.
