Here is my new kick around, general beater hat. Yes, it's made of Lite Felt.

It fits great and feels great. And it was not expensive. I was going to point it out to my wife as a potential Christmas present and she was the one who recommended me getting it today. I only wish they had some Akubras in stock...

Hello,

Today it was a 50's Royal Stetson, in charcoal grey, with a less usual black-and-dark purple ribbon with back bow. It has a dazzling liner, too!

The colour combination sets the hat as distinct, but at the same time is pretty discreet. It does not make for a very dressy hat, but it goes well with less-formal-to-casual outfits, which was the idea I had when picking it in the first place.

I coordinated it with similar hues in shirt and tie and, to my taste, it looked great.

Great looking hat. It is the first one that I've seen that has the same liner as my Stevens Pacesetter. I'm sure it was JT who mentioned the connection between Stetson and Stevens.

Self conforming, 2 1/8" brim, custom edge. This is the first time I've worn this hat, though I've had it for quite a while. It has an incredibly soft sweat band.

Those roll ups intrigue me. If someoen handed me a felt hat and a pie shaped tin and asked me to roll up their hat and stick in the funny box I'd probably break a sweat......just goes completely against hat nature.

I believe that that will be the first vintage for IC. I have to say it was a sweet looking fedora,
cant wait to see what it looks like on him!
