Everyone is looking great! Gotta play catch up for a few days here. Thanks for yesterday's comments!

David, your Adventurbilt is one of the nicest looking grey hats I've seen.
HRme, again, the MacLachlan is really superb.
Justin, ++++ on that awesome photo of you in the Pencraft.
G. Durand, your VS Whiskey is lovely and poignant, and you always sport the nicest Lees around-- nice Trinity!
T Jones, nice OR!
Orangegrad, I've been enjoying your hats, and especially the native jewelry pics. Between you and Alan, I'm starting to become interested in that stuff! (uh oh)
Michaelshane, does the dog wear hats too? nice pic!
An'A, love that Stetson, great ribbon and flange as well! Excellent purchase from the rlk vaults!
Garrett, the standard is THE standard. Classy and seemingly untouched by time.
KyleK, congrats! Can't wait to see more of that hitchhiker.
Perry, that Strat is one of my favorites on you, up there with that whitish Mallory (I think). Hope you didn't get too soaked.
Sam, (as always) I like that modification on the CD. It completely changes the entire affect of the hat.

easy Friday hat.
What I like better than your Royal Stetson Balibuntal is your link to avertedimagination. The pictures of the Sun awesome! I love astronomy. I wish I knew more about it. Anyone who hasn't clicked on your link yet are missing out on some fantastic stuff!

Thank you for that kind note and notice. The website has become a little cumbersome to keep updated... my Tumblr blog is a little more up to date with new work. It also has some hat pictures from time to time, though the folks that follow the blog (mostly young kids) appear more interested in the sun than the sun hats. :) Yesterday I had a crew from a London based company visit and take material for a short film that will air this fall in connection with an astronomy awards competition sponsored by the Royal Observatory. They were very interested in the hat side of things and filmed footage of the hat room and me putting a bash on some old Stetson westerns. We'll see if it makes the cut for a 3 minute film.

clear skies!

David - that Adventurebilt looks great - casual enough for a T-shirt, smart enough for a suit.

Andy - great colour felt on the Borsalino - looks good on you.

TJ - Nice OR. The style suits you.

Sam- Great Superfine.

Alan- Great straw that Balibuntal and a lovely pug.

Perry - good to know the weather's improving. Your rain hats have been pretty fine though :)

I like that Balibuntal hat as well, Alan. cool.

Today I wore my Resistol Beaver twenty kitten finish "Monroe" out and about, and got some comments. At a gas station mini-mart, the woman at the cash register asked me "Are you going... incognito today?" My reply "No, every day." As I was buying cigarettes for my wife, the cashier said "Well, I suppose I should ask for your ID to make sure you're really you." lol I'm not sure how that would have helped.

Anyway,

Another trip across to Sussex today. Standing outside Charleston House - home of Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell, and the holiday home of the Bloomsbury group. If you're interested in art from the first half of the 20th Century, Virginia Woolf or even the economist John Maynard-Keynes it's well worth a visit.

Just read the Indian Clerk, about Ramanajan, the Indian mathmetician. Wolf, Keynes and Bloomsbury all mentioned in the book. Thanks for the photo and nice cap.

Jeff looking good, but tell your wife she should lay off the smokes...:(

Nice Western Tom, where's the horse?
