Al, Thanks! Your OPTIMO Montecristis look fantastic! I always enjoy seeing the great photo sequences you put together. Super!

Thank you, Steve, I really appreciate your kind words, and your phenomenal collection!

Al I'm not sure which I like better your photos or hats both are fantastic!!!

You are too kind! Thank you!

AL, wonderful to see those Optimo straws out again. Well chosen and beautiful hats.

Thanks, Alan! Winter Storm Warning here this evening. :smow:

It would be a tall order to top your lids! ;) Beautiful 5X & WABTAC!

Al, Bravo on that black and white shot! I'd be shaking in my boots with those fellas at my doorstep. Beautiful Montecristis-- I'm especially taken by the shorter brimmed version with the brown ribbon.

Then later donned this Ultrafino Montecristi. The fit is big/wide for its labeled 7 1/8. Eventually I may get it refitted with a new sweatband. I'm more comfortable with this thin leather strap I tied around it in place of the original somewhat awkward brown ribbon.

Thanks, Jeff! Great looking straws you sported. At least we enjoyed a few days of Panama weather, did we not?! Weather records will fall tonight!

Al, loved your pics and great Palm Beach jacket--very sharp. I am always saying, "Hey, this reminds me of a Palm Beach!"

I appreciate your kind comments, Monte. Been on a roll lately as I found another 1940s Palm Beach dinner jacket for next to nothing yesterday afternoon. DB, unlined example in a large size, that appears never to have been worn.

Al, fantastic, pleasing pics as always The Panamas on your head lets the sun shine!

Thank you, my friend. Wish they could have kept the snow from returning! You are looking dashing in cap and fedora, as always!

Gt, nice choice!

Case, sweet hat!

Robert, WAR it is... very nice VS!

G. Durand, sleek lookin' Whippet!

Jeff, what a great photo. I doff my hat to you, and your good humor in a time of relentless weather! Great look!

HatsRme, sweet Cananagh!

Alan, love it! I bet the shade that brim creates feels nice! Looks like a fun one to wear!

Great hat selections and photos, guys.

Quite warm here today so great timing for my Brent Black Montecristi which arrived back from some R&R with Tom Gomez. Tom replaced the sweatband and ribbon and did a reflange job. The ribbon is wider than the original - I reclaimed it from a 1950's Churchill I never wore.

I loved wearing this hat last year, even with a badly cracked sweatband. Like it even more now!
