Wave back at you! I grew up with Pendleton Wool clothing as being the recongized classy casual wear. I am guilty in walking that belief forward. Our Pendleton shirts as youth and teens was prized and as such was treated well. I have passed those to nephews and nieces and still see them being worn. On the other hand I know that a bigger diversity in my daily attire is desired by those around me. Ah, the challenges of folks opinions.;)

BTW: I do love that poster. I had contacted Pendleton Marketing and asked if I might purchase or aquire some of their advertising posters and was told that are not available. Eric -

I, too grew up with those, still wear them almost daily (they have great tropical weight wool fabrics for office attire) and still have one of my father's maroon ones dated 1960. The trick, as you know is to hide them from the moths.

You like the poster? Well, my friend, I know the owners of this store, going back a long way; generations, even. His father was a Scout leader of my Boy Scout troop, and moreover, hung out with my father as kids... I look forward to visiting him often during my summer visits to northeastern Vermont. I will inquire. No, I'll harrass.

Here's the Moose River Lodge Store site, with Freddie and Robin pictured. Really a great place if you're in need of moose antler chandeliers, snowshoe furniture, etc.

Yesterday: VS Max. Visited Max and his sisters grave after church with his hat.

Poignantly Bittersweet photo, Sam. I am reminded of a fortune cookie saying "Joy shared is double joy... Sorrow shared is half sorrow." I hope that's the case.
We're here for you, man.

I owe you a P.M...

Overcast with 41'F temps and intermittent rain showers this morning. The weather has me guessing when it is "good" to be outside. My guesses have been correct so far – just luck!

Hatted in an Adams Executive. This brown felted hat has a unique green hued brim trim. The ribbon changes to a cool green in the brighter shade and more iridescent in the gray day of today.
