Plus another, Yeps. Will you be walking about on dry land for long, or diving right back into academia?

Well, it looks like the real world (or as close to it as a musician can go) for a while now. The department wants me back for my masters though, and if they find the money, I don't see how it could hurt to go.

Hi

Congratulations Yeps. Good luck in the Music Business. It always sounded fun when my Band director described paying in the East Saint Louis Bars back in the 1940's, 50's and 60's.

I really like the Brent Black panama David.
Pretty BB panama, Dave. I'm pulling mine out this weekend!

Thanks, guys. Hatto - I thought this would be a good Panama day, ended up pouring with rain much of the time =(

Looking good in the pale blue!

Good looking BB panama David.

Thanks, Jason and BR.

Joao - enjoy the sun while you can; looking good in the 3X

Great Hats today from David, Perry and Joao.

For me, Resistol 7x from LBJ Ranch. A Hat with History.
A gift from L.B.Johnson to a German politician, Felix von Eckardt.
1955 to 1956 he served as an observer at the United Nations in New York.

Thanks for the BBB comment, Manfred. Love the Resistol and its story!

David I think you win the award for one of the nicest selection of hats here in the lounge.
Every one I have seen has been top notch.

Thanks so much, Bond. I've been outrageously lucky in being able to get hold of some nice hats. As I tell everyone, it is way easier when I can wear size 7 and 7 1/8.

Congratulations from me as well, Yeps! Hats don't come much better than that one!

Everybody’s looking good. AL’s shots always make me want to venture down to St. Paul.

In the absence of a straw hat, this evening it was the Beaver Brand.

Very nice, Manfred. You may want to consider posting photos of your hat together with any accompanying materials to the HATS WITH HISTORY thread.

Wormser lord's hat yesterday, between concerts.

Champ Kasmir backbow today, transporting timpani before viola auditions...

Knock-outs both, Jeff. I know you are multi-talented, but did not realize you are a member of the percussion and string sections as well! lol

AL, thanks for the comment on the BBB Panama. This one isn't perfect, but it is super comfortable. I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot as the days get warmer.

Another Panama today, this one a vintage Royal Stetson.
