Good start in the morning, David, Mike, great lids today.

Thanks, Manfred

Royal Stetson David. love that colour and cant wait to see what this week will bring us :D

Thanks Dirk. This one is my oldest hat (prob 30's) but I have a couple of other nice ones for the rest of the week.

David: Starting Stetson week with a bang. Killer Zephyr Weight!

David, I can't say enough good things about that Zephyr Weight. The colors, dimensions, and overall look are just fantastic. Excellent!!!

Thanks AL and Josh. Like many of my best hats, this one came to me from a fellow Lounger, Douglas in this case.

Another day will great hats in the thread:

Mike, J - great VS's today, impossible to get too much Art!!

Ale - the Disney is looking good today

AL - nice shots, Ale is right about you being able to pull of the GP really well.

Alan - Wild!

Josh - love the Playboy. Don't think I've seen one like it before.

DonCapone - welcome and thanks for posting such a cool first photo

Jeff: Looks like you had a nice little escape. I am now hungry for some bangers and mashed, thanks to your pic.

Hoyt: Your red truck is a thing of beauty. I grew up admiring the International Scout and Scout IIs, and still have a hankering for one. Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoy the truck pictures.I don't want to take this thread too far off topic, but I was trying to add a bit of information to the last post when our power went out this afternoon.
The first picture is of my son and I ,and was taken in November of 1999,the night I bought the truck.(We are both somewhat larger today as can be observed in the picture from last July.)
The last two were taken at the International factory,in Chatham Ontario, where the truck was built. I appologize for the absense of fedoras in these pictures.
Also, what can I do to eliminate all of the extra white when I post a picture?
Thanks again and I appreciate your patience.

Beauties so far today, gentlemen.
Shohei-- looks sharp, clean lines-- 2 inch brim?
Ale-- seriously? you totally renovated that Disney? It looks amazing-- nice work!

On the hair note: I had long hair most of my life, and have had a few periods of buzzing it. I did find a difference, particularly with the bowlers. I think I'm closer to a large 7 with short hair, but an easy 7 1/8 with it long. Once in awhile I can get away with a 1/4 with minimal padding. My resistol wide country is a 1/4, and has pretty much self-conformed without any aids whatsoever.
Oh- and I'm getting impatient with the tie-back! The front is taking so long to grow enough to pull back with the rest of it. :)
Yes Jeff, just 2 inches, and ditto that sentiment on Ale's Disney! You could never tell! Good Job (I must know how you did all that, I can hand sew but id be way too nervous!)

Al beautiful line up there! Love your photos as much as the hats and as said earlier, like traveling with you, too bad I am no where near as suave!

Awesome playboy Josh, looks perfect on.

Don killer photo and nice borso -what colour is that ribbon, looks bordeaux? Oh and welcome from another new face!

A lot of practice, a brief apprenticeship with a master hatter, and a lot, a LOT of mistakes after. And believe me, I still know nothing. Hat servicing/making is a difficult art that I love and are grateful to have come to know and learn.
