Since I am retired I am wearing my retirement outfit of a "T" shirt and jeans. Not 1940s for sure. However, I did receive my A2 Jacket in the mail today and wore it even though it is in the low 70s. Have a set of 1940 Officers Khakis on the way. I do WWII reenacting along with Civil War. Also some of the pictures on this thread are very nice.

Would love to see some pics of that! What civil war hats do you have? After going to a reenactment it changed my whole idea of they just wore blue and gray. I saw a mix of everything.

Great, dense felt. High crown, almost no taper. Silk grosgrain ribbon that breaks up light in the sunlight, showing colors like a prism.
A true quality hat.
