Nice brim on the Barlesoni and great avatar pic also.

Great outfit Slim Portly.
Aaahhhh....another 737, here's mine, aren't they great? JT tells me they (Resistol) made a few of them after planes/jets. I'd love to get 'em all. :D

Thanks, Jimmy... I think you're on to something there! lol

I meant to say Strat clone, but then (being tired) for a moment I was thinking of the Whippet's typically wide edge binding as being on a Strat so put OR instead. I've got a Mallory Strat clone in brown sitting here as well, but it doesn't have a model name inside. It does, however, have a folded up bit of newspaper that was used to pad the sweatband. It's dated May 14, 1956.

One of these days I'll wander over to the Brotherhood of the Thin Ribbon thread and apply for membership. I've got enough of 'em here to qualify, I think. :p

Time to go get some sleep!

Cheers,
Tom

Tango Yankee, Looking good. I can certainly understand your attachment to that hat. I'm becoming quite fond of my Adam, also. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Last Night....

Cinema Draft House again, wore my Dobbs 5th Ave. cav edge w/wind trolley.
Went to see Clooney's "Leather Heads". I enjoyed it, but I'm a huge Football fanatic. It's so cool to see that many hats in a movie at one time.....like when they show the crowds, in the stands at the games. Most of them wore caps in those days, but there were some nice looking fedoras as well. Most of those were, Homburgs, Bowlers, and Derbys. :D

I was going to wear this, to keep in the spirit of the movie, but my wife would have no parts of it......no way in H-E-double hockey sticks. :D

Thanks, J.T.! That Adam Majestic of yours is sure a great-looking hat as well. I'm having a hard time deciding what color it is, though... you know how monitors are. Is it a grey-green?

Cheers,
Tom
