Well, not today but yesterday at my Step Daughter's Wedding. I picked up this Camp Draft from Dundee here on the forum a couple of weeks ago. The suit is new (black with black vest and black shirt), the tie (pink) matched the wedding party's and I have on my Allen Edmonds (Park Avenues). I was quite a hit at the wedding (LOL)!

At the moment, I'm sitting in a hotel and am back in the Beret, but all day I've been wearing that brown Stetson I grabbed on the Bay last month (only got it when I got home two weeks ago, have worn it a handful of times).

More pics (innards etc.) in the "New Hats" thread.

Tried to get Dakota to wear it for a quick shot, but she wasn't having in any of that. This is the best I could get.

Optimo Montecristi

Looking sharp this Monday morning, David!

Great hats over the weekend, everyone!

My Optimo Montecristi scarcely left my noggin all weekend long:

Picking up some papyri and water lillies at the nursery Saturday morning.

Attending the season finale of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra at the Ordway Center For The Performing Arts Saturday evening.

Buying fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables at the St. Paul Farmers Market Sunday morning.

Nice PB, Matt. I broke down and ordered 2 from Bob yesterday. Looking forward to seeing them.
Your CD looks great with that suit, Terry.
Great Stetson, TRick. I can't get my dogs to wear hats either.
Love that Tumwater, Dave, excellent bow.
Dapper as usual, Al. That Montecristi looks just right on your head.

A quick trip into and out of Chicago to pick up our daughter at school... RLK and I had time for a cup of coffee and fedora talk outside Bennison's Bakery in Evanston.

ps: The chance to handle Robert's brilliant Dobbs 100 was worth the 1100 mile drive!

Love this shot Al!
This is fast becoming one of my favorite threads!

Thanks, Rusty!

A couple of years ago my dear wife had it in her silly head that I favoured the actor Anthony Hopkins (certain light, certain angle, didn't see it myself...but hey!)

She asked me to wear a black shirt with the above titfer for an evening out at our local town's "wine bar" - why not?

As the fates would have it we stood behind an attractive young couple waiting to be seated, the female was explaining her terror at Sir Anthony's roll in one of the 'Hannibal' cinematic performances to her companion.....at this point they had not noticed us.
I leant forward and close to her right ear and huskily whispered "Well hello Clarice", she looked at me and issued an extremely high pitched wimper.

I do believe she 'went' a little....

Worth quoting again. What a great tale! You look great in that hat, too!

A couple weeks old, but here you go.

A nice day of fishing. Royal Stetson keeping me cool.

Beautiful photos! Great Royal Stetson fishin' hat.

A day at the circus in my VS thin-ribbon. The show was nice, if a bit tame. It's nice to see small, family-owned circuses keping traditions alive. And you could buy plastic light-sabers for just ten euros.

Love the photo and hat! Those family circuses are an endangered species, sadly.
