Wow, hope they fit!

As deep as I went (relative to what I normally spend) I hope so too!

I think there have been a couple other "Supper Club" models on the Lounge, but these colors were unique. The colors of the Whippet are about as boring as you can get, but it is an early model -- and may be the first Whippet that I can actually wear.

Werner seems to go way back into the 1800s (dry goods, then hatters / furnishers). I can find them up to 1930, but then I hit a dead-end (lack of online resources after that). These hats seem newer and maybe they retained the old-style logo past 1930.

The make of the brown hat in the first photo is unknown -- as well as the sizes.

I'm a sucker for a good $10 hat. The Bailey may not be a $10 hat, but it is not super-modern, so may be OK. The other one was what I was after.

The Sam & Dave Gideon (father and son) store of Huntington, West Virginia goes pretty far back. It was Huntington's first clothing store starting in 1872. They sold the store (to the W. T. Grant chain) upon the elder Gideon's death in 1923.

Figured I'd add in an old French hat to go along for the ride.
