What hat are you waiting for today?

As part of the Huggy Bear exchange, Matt has diverted this hat from a recent auction to my address on this side of the nation. I'm really stoked about this interesting find. A Stetson Homburg in Vita Felt from the 1960s. Apparently Stetson worked with DuPont to develop a new version of the classic Vita Felt for marketing. Vita Felt II? or Vita Felt Part Deux! This should be an interesting story to tell.

I still have trouble not buying every hat in my size...particularly when the price is low.

I hope his will be here by the end of the week. After a good clean, I’m going to try my hand at a kettle curl/pencil roll. Gulp.

This one is Czechoslovakian, a Tonak. I'm hoping it runs small, as the velour and sweat look very cool.

The count is back up to two: Akubra Campdraft in Silverbelly and the Knox New York Shop Vintage (straw) Fedora. One is due Friday, and the other is still somewhere in Australia Post.

Dalton from the bay, sweat stitching is giving up and it has a couple of stains but it should clean up.This is an ebay pic. More when I get my hands on it.
