That Mossant is a beauty. What era is it from? Does it have the adjustable sweat band?Winging their way across the Atlantic presently. Two beauties from Daniele! One has been posted here before, a Mossant Diplomatique and a NOS Borsalino Qualità Victoria c1970, View attachment 72681 View attachment 72682 View attachment 72683 View attachment 72684

The taupe one is a worth & worth, no idea on the age. The second one is a newer Stetson from what I can gather.

Daniele posted it in the Homburg thread. It was too small for him, I am providing a home for this beauty. The consensus was that it is pre-war. The interesting feature of this French Homburg is that it is originally unlined. The faint ghost of the Mossant logo is still there. I like the lines of the brim. That Mossant is a beauty. Looks light and airy. Is it lined, hard to tell?My Henschel Hat Co. View attachment 72722

I have a similar Mossant. It came with a lovely satin liner and the notched adjustable sweat band. Picked it up in a vintage shop so no bargain to be had but a fair price for a nice hat. I gaveit a naptha bath and it came out great except the liner expanded and went all floppy so now the liner has lost it shape and beauty....but then it is only I that knows this!Daniele posted it in the Homburg thread. Not lined, which makes it a bit more comfortable in warmer weather. It has a solid top however.Looks light and airy. Is it lined, hard to tell?

Looks like my Stetson Pinnacle....

Mike, that hat is special. Don't see too many lords hats around. Love the bow treatment too. Good catch!Churchill Lord's Hat c1960-70? True configuration of a Lord's hat, shaped like a homburg without binding on brim edge. I'll have to study up on Churchill hats here on the lounge. I have high expectations, we will see.
