I found myself on the phone with a man named Al who spent a long time working in a hat shop many many years ago.
turns out he has a small stack of Stetson hats that have never been worn that he was given as gifts by the shops owner when he worked there.
best part... they are all in my size

this is my first purchase from him ... can't wait to receive it

Here is my first Lee. I should get it in the next week. Having a hard time finding pics to compare for dating. It has a 2 7/16" brim and crown is 5 1/4 when open. The pictures are really pretty bad. Any best guess on decade?

well what started five weeks ago for one custom hat,has now turned into three that went on the block yesterday.

Will post pictures when I receive them, gave Art my likes and let him have freedom to be creative.

I don't know what's worse disease too have old coal stoves,guns or vintage hats.well things could be worse.
