I had tossed out a $13 bid for this one and forgot about it. It ended with only my bid and it didn't meet reserve (it is a bit mothed). They reached out and asked if I could go to $14. I said "OK".

Been taking it slowly with the hats for a bit, but a few lottery hats I couldn't resist. Sizes unknown. Paid less than a fiver a piece on average. Should be fun.

But, I must admit that Eric @Short Balding Guy and Rick @quikrick and Bill @Bill Hughes are the three individuals who give me most of my hat and color ideas and inspiration. This one is no different. The optimo creased Panama (?) looks interesting. No idea what hat is under it or the sizes of anything. I'm just going to take the three straws as I don't need the leather hats or the ladies' hats.

Thanks Stefan… yes I am very interested to see this one In comparison to the Willoughby I got a couple years back. That one has a non reeded sweat but appears more modern. This one looks like it has a reeded sweat… but the imprint gives me the impression it’s a bit older. Whatever the case.. something tells me you won’t appreciate the color.
