Done plenty of that myself. Enough for 5 lifetime's. Windward side has some great waves

North Beach Kaneohe is fantastic. Some sharks there like to surf too.;) Bumped into a fishing market table in Greece once, which held a recently caught Tiger shark.
Razored ivory teeth, lots of 'em. I have a healthy regard for the species but I'd love taking a board out right now.:D

Heck, I still haven't fully trusted the bathtub since I first saw "Jaws" back in '75.

Great photos, SurfGent - the mystery of your screen name is solved too!
Lol yeah. I'm kinda a odd ball in the industry. Imagine rolling up tothe beach, a contest or festival Stetson Whippet 3 peice Brooks Brothers suit and sandals with my model girlfriends pulling my boards out helping me undress and get into my wetsuit. It's my public image. But I live it real life 2, or I use 2 anyway. I've settled down a bit last few years

Currently working as an internship student were I make artwork and mascots, and design products and merchandise for various European theme-parks. It's a very fun job and it's giving me nice opportunities to develop my drawing skills and marketing insight. :)

I currently work in an Antiques store in a resort town in central Maine. The store is in the process of closing its doors, so that won't last much longer. Bleah, resume and cover letter writing in my future--among my least favorite activities.

What is your profession/job/school status/etc?

I currently work for a private business but am a graduate student by night, on the cusp of that long coveted Master's degree.

How 'bout you?

I try to avoid work whenever possible. But I used to work in a fruitcake foundry, manufacturing fruitcakes for the Christmas trade. We made 132 different brands of fruitcake distributed all over North America.

I work for a Big 4 accounting firm, where I do DevOps for a coding group.

Its a ton of fun. I used to work in the public sector, but it was much too laid back for my adhd-fueled tastes

Pretty sure there is a thread already out there on this neat topic (it's 'cause I posted on it that I remember) - perhaps, these two threads could be merged by a moderator?

Please try the search feature before starting a new one in the (very likely) event of a thread already in progress. Many forums frown on keeping old threads alive but we find it makes it easier to search for information later if we keep things together.

Welcome to The Fedora Lounge, JC.

What field of study?

I am getting my Master of Education in Higher Education. Basically, I loved college so much that I want to work in a college for a living! I am hoping to get involved in academic advising or admissions :)

I work for a Duchy (Dukedom) in the UK (where some of Downton Abbey & Harry Potter among other things was filmed). Never feels like "work" when you're inside a 11th Century castle!

I work three 12 hour graveyard shifts a week, Sunday PM through Wednesday AM (the good news is once that's over, I have the rest of the week to do with as I choose. And hey!- as I type this I just noticed my work week is half over:cool:)

I work in "Computer Operations", which is about impossible to explain to someone who's not done the work.
