The venue didn't have a great selection of whisky's but I'd forgotten that Makers ain't too bad.

How was the show? Hard to hear Whiskey River, and not have one! I saw Willie years ago and he was great.

The show was good, Dd. It was a concert hall performance, which I prefer instead of the full blown arena show, so not his full band.

Tried a Guinness Blonde. Lighter than a normal Guinness, but a not light on flavor.

Just had a couple of Wolf Among Weeds IPA draft with a burger. Wolf Among Weeds is from Golden Road Brewery, Los Angeles. Surprising something this good comes from L.A.

Totally non-alcoholic last night. Pellegrino sparkling water while watching the Mountaineers beat Baylor in BIG 12 tourney. Tonight playing Texas Tech and could be time for a Jameson Irish Whiskey. After all it's nearly St Patrick's Day.

Last night was some Founder's Breakfast Stout again - love its rich flavor - but what really kicked it up was drinking it in the Golden-Retriever-etched glasses SGF's parents (known as SGPs or just SPs on their own - they are awesome) gave us for Christmas (I waited until I had drank it down below the etching so you could see it):
