Ok..don't laugh...but it wasn't that bad.

Mu hubby and I were having a romantic evening when it dawned on us that we were out of bourbon. Living in the country, we decided to brew something up with what we had in the kitchen.

Mind you our bar collection is slim to nothing at the time.

We took vodka, added a little water, sprayed some lemon juice in and added a pinch of salt. Sounded weird, but tasted like a cool lemonade drink with a kick.

I have to admit, I felt like I was in college again, mixing whatever was left at the end of the night. lol
