Another night for Knob Creek Single Barrel 120 on the rocks this time. Very smooth & enjoyable!
I don't know what to compare it to and would not say that any one ingredient stands out. It is sweet, but not too sweet, goes well with dinner, and is fun.I should have read this before I did my web search on a fog cutter based on your short mention of it in the "dinner" thread.
Always hard to do, but how would you describe the flavor - does it compare to something, does one or do a few ingredients dominate? I find the orgeat syrup and sherry the most intriguing ingredients as they are the most unexpected.
And, yes, just from reading about it I can feel the punch it packs.
Tried it once; too hoppy for my taste & the label on the bottle was "scary".Last night was Roughtail Hoptometrist.
A few Grey Goosed Screwdrivers while listening to some Old Crow Medicine Show on the back deck.
Quite familiar with a screwdriver (while they go in and out of popularity - they are an old reliable to me), but what is an "Old Crow Medicine Show?"
