Last night with dinner, which consisted of bacon wrapped shrimp barbecued over mesquite and oak, we enjoyed sazeracs! Rye, bitters, and lemon twist, in an absinthe lined glass!

Natty light. $3 for 4 tallboys at the Chevron. The only thing they had cheaper was Hurricanes. They usually have PBR at the Exxon, but it burnt down last week.

Saturday night at the movie night get-together it was Bushmill's Black and Topper.

Tonight, a lemon drop for the missus, using a lemon freshly picked from the tree in the backyard, and for me a whiskey sour with the bargain bourbon from Total Wine, homemade simple syrup, and the other half of the lemon.
