The lightest colored ones with the silver edition label are definitely mild. I compare to a macanudo gold. I had the dark one the other night that did not have the silver edition label and just said legnd on it. I liked that one, more flavor than the light one but definitely a good deal for the price.:D

I don't remembber getting any guide but I think they are in the catalog or site.
Thanks!

I tried the light one tonight. A bit too mild for
my taste, but a pleasant smoke.

I have 18 of them now that my order came in from CI.
My second 18, BTW. I think they're a great value.

I also received my Gurkha Medley selection. Question is,
since they don't have names on the labels, which is which?
IndyCop, did I throw out the guide to the cigars? The
special isn't on the CI site anymore so... I'm off to pick
one at random.

Will tap an ash for Ash, RedPop.

They are a great deal. I'll get some in later this month. :D
You're making me jealous now. :eusa_doh: :p

Thats why I grabbed them on that special. When the Black Dragon came out they were about $12.50 a stick at my local shop. Then last time I was there I noticed they were now $5 a stick. I commented on the drop but they just kinda acted like they didn't hear me.

Thank you, gentlemen.
There's a thread on CW in Close But No Cigar. I've added many excerpts from New Orleans blogs. The leftish bloggers of New Orleans are reeling from this, even a week later.

Dr. Morris will be laid to rest on Friday afternoon.

They aren't worth it at $5 to me. :D I can get a Maxx The Ego for less than that and twice the smoke. ;) :p

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice, James.

Here is the Thread about Dr. Ashley Morris

Getting together with friends tomorrow night, I received a nice sampler from another CWer this week, with some really worthy specimens, four from 2001 alone (Padron Anniversario Maduro Torpedo, Davidoff 5000, Avo Signature Robusto, and a Bucanero el Capitan.) There's a Zino Connoisseur Robusto from 1998 in there as well. From "elsewhere" a La Gloria Cubana Soberano from 1996   and a Ramon Allones Corona Gigante from 2003.

My, OH my.
Two weeks ago Ash gave me a Sancho Panza Sancho (BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG four hour cigar) from a box with a box code of OLSU. He'd been in Bahrain teaching a class, and knew my love of the Tigers.

I hate to agree with Cigar Aficionado about the Gurkha but I do. They are just too expensive for what they are. [huh]
I'm afraid I'm coming to the same conclusion.
Don't mind paying for that cut rate sampler, but they
just don't seem that tasty and don't draw well enough
to compete. My sample size is small, though.

While Maxx the Ego does sound like a condom brand,
I will get ahold of one. And the Padron 2000. You
guys are bad influences.

Yeah Gurkha just doesn't impress me for the same reasons you state.
Hey, MAXXXXXXXXX The Ego is a different story. :p Like the aforementioned product by FF, it delivers. :p ;)

Oh geez, you are killing me with the mention of Sancho Panza and the La Gloria Cubana. I haven't gotten a chance to buy those. :D

Personally I find the ISOM SP's to be salty tasting, not to my personal liking. I do like the LGC. They have several small ring guage, longewr smokes, panatelas and such. Good smoke for the couple I have tried.

A while back Tommy gave me a Vegas Robaina, a great cigar IMO. Very nice smoke. James, you tried a Bolivar Belicoso Fino? Ahhh yes, my fav.

Cielo Nemesis (6.25" x 52). A bit bolder than I wanted to smoke tonight but it was a chilly night and I wanted to smoke while enjoying some espresso. The strong flavor helped me keep the cold at bay since I had to smoke outside.

Carlos Torano Signature. Toro (6 x 50) sized. Keeping up with cigars slightly stronger than I normally smoke. This one had a decidedly coffee-like nose but I didn't get much of the cedar notes that I read about. I liked this cigar, especially as I tend to smoke while drinking coffee.
