It's a cloudy day so this doesn't show up well, but it's a dark green cap from Mucros, came in the mail today from Ireland:

Thanks, Eric. I'm thinking the off-white cream base color will make for a versatile piece. I originally bought it with the intent to pair with my Aero 30s half belt brown leather jacket (which should pair perfectly, at least conceptually in my head). Weather conditions, however, allowed for a maiden wearing with the brown wool coat.

I now have the bare minimum covered with a summer linen and a wool winter cap. Definitely was inspired by you and your postings to branch out into the cap realm, so I thank you and tip my cap your way.

Thanks sir. Check out the Facebook group Cap Department. I find inspiration within the posts of ohhh soo glorious cap options. Wear you caps/hats in good health.

I've been eyeing Mucros Weavers' "Trinity" caps for a while now, but their "green" herringbone always seems to photograph with a whole lot of yellow in it. This quality in your photo is considerably more subdued than in the other photos I've seen, so I think a green Mucros cap is back on my consideration list. :D Thank you!

I got it on Ebay. If you look up Mucros and find this color, you can get close ups to verify it's the color you like. And shipping is free from Ireland.

My humble Gamble and Gunn in Donegal tweed for work today

Pano the tweed cap is a classic and you wear it with ease. I like it.

This mid-morning I have been using our snowblower and working the neighbor's driveway. My neighbor has to head in to work at the hospital this afternoon and her long driveway was an easy fix with a snowblower. A Monsavais cap and Filson wool jacket kept my comfy. The Donegeal wool is both warm and weather resistant. The wool is thoroughly wet and will be dry in an hour and ready for more adventures. The leather sweat band makes it comfy during my efforts and will need a bit of leather cleaner and conditioner after it is dry. Both are drying now inside. The snow is falling wet.
