Finally got my Sterkowski linen flat cap. Took exactly a month. And since Canada Post decided not to use the tracking number, it was a nice surprise after making peace with it probably being lost. My first flat cap, I think I shall buy another.

It took me about a month to get my new Sterkowsky cap as well. It is a very nicely put together, relatively modern fit newsboy, in a natural colored, fairly light weight linen with a mesh lining. Pretty good for the money. I could see getting another, but I have been waiting for a cap from Germany for more than a month and think I'll see what that looks like first.
Moloa'a Beach was just a joy today.

Thanks Eric, I am a lucky man. Thanks for sharing. I have looked up the Sterkowski caps in the past. It is fun to see them in action. Congrats on the cap.
Ahhhhh a Canadian cap on the beaches in the South Pacific - the modern world. Glorious beach vista sir. Thanks for sharing this morning. The cap look light and airy. Great pairing for your daily adventures. Aloha!

Adam Hats snap front flat cap. A super thin light weight and airy fabric I will guess is a cotton rayon blend.... or something to that effect. With a satin sweat. The pattern is a beige and white checked pattern with the occasional thin red and bluish green line here and there. I think as cool and airy this hat is... it will get a lot of wear

Thank you sir!Looking sharp!
WDH straw for a trip all the way to the West side and a vigorous swim at Kekaha, a long wide sandy beach with some decent size waves. Nobody on the beach for miles in either direction. Straw caps are in this season.

Wow! The blue linen looks just dynamite. That should be an grail cap. Seriously cool.
Tonight I am home before the sun sets - sheers. I have been sport'n a Cordova pleated back cap in linen this warm evening. It is comfy in the 80'f temps.

Eric
Your hats and caps are an inspiration.
Be well,

Several days of consistent NE Trade Winds has resulted in a typical trade wind swell on my local East side beach. Fairly large waves breaking pretty far from shore with lots of guys on long boards getting nice long rides. I had to swim very far off shore to get past the breakers, and got caught by a few anyway. I got a couple of double takes from some surfers, but had a wonderful, challenging and tiring swim.
Life is good.
White Linen Simonds Cap today.
