You get the same blue, turquoise transition in morocco, and indeed although many irish darker people claim lineage to the remnants of the spanish armada's army that was wrecked around the west coast, the spanish folk's heads were worth a few dollars to the english but as their moorish galley slaves weren't worth squat we let them live. The name for a black man being 'fár (man) gorm (blue)', so blue man, ship slaves would have been sunburnt, black lads burn blue. And according to the romans we were a tanned lot. Many a kerryman can grow natural dreads and boasts about his tackle, and many a galwayman bronzes well. I have an identicial wee brother with your colouring.
one things for sure genetically we share feck all genes with the southern spanish!
