Cutting wood and comfy. Best, Eric -
Is your Minnesota Tuxedo of the west coast Filson variety or the Bemidji Woolen Mills native son? Or are there others. I just saw that Bemidji sells on in 30 oz wool vs 24 oz for Filson.

Filson of West Coast fame. It is an Alaska fit version. I replaced a Filson, same color, that I inherited from my Grandfather. He bought his when he returned home from WWI. I suspect my version will outlast me. The old version was a heavier wool - like a double Mackinaw I have. This version is the "lighter" 24 oz.

I guessed it was probably Filson. Very Cool about having your Grandfather's bibs. Did you frame them when they finally gave up?
Have you ever seen the Bemidji products? They have 30 oz 85/15 wool/nylon blend and a 29 oz pure wool versions. Unfortunately the pure wool is only available in blaze orange.
Minnesota Tuxedo
I really like the look of both the bibs and the pants in the grey with burgundy windowpane. I am being tempted to get a pair of one or the other, not least because it's right down the road from my birthplace.

One of these days I will have to buy myself a good quality cap. Best I have right now is a Tilley winter flat cap. BTW how do they do in a good down poor?
Johnny
I purchased two bespoke tweed caps from AmiCharnel on Etsy and had him sew in a water proof liner. They work well in rain but have yet to have them thoroughly drenched. On the down side AmiCharnels Etsy site is inactive now.
