No more tricks. Time for a treat. Teased cap 2 of 2 from Keith Lo Bue, the L'Étoile:

Constructed from 1930s German wool and lined with 1900s Italian suit material:

Weather took a turn for for the worse with the second coldest and second snowiest Halloween on record yesterday (after setting record highs in the 80s the previous week). Still cold today, but perfect weather for a new cap day:

Obviously I love wearing my hats, but more often than not it's the caps that elicit a comment from a stranger when out and about. Maybe it's because they're less intimidating. Regardless of the reasons, this cap will get plenty of headtime with the onset of colder weather. Can't recommend The Well-Dressed Head enough!

The vicuna wool cap is just classy and very elegant. Congrats on the dynamite cap.

I ran errands early this morning in a diamond weave wool cap. The belted back caps have eye appeal coming and going.

Yesterday I wore a different diamond wool cap.

Friday I wore a vintage JC Penny cap. I really enjoy the pattern and hues of the wool.

Won't be worn in anger until the warmer weather next Spring now, but this Bronson recently arrived via eBay. It'll need the wrinkles fallen out of it, but overall very pleased with it for a relatively small outlay.

I'm not normally a fan of red colored clothing, but I'd risk it for a cap like that. Nice!
