A Dashing Tweed cap was the cap choice for today...My challenge is when I say "Dashing Tweed."...

I really like that cap--the colors and how they're somewhat muted to blend together better--but I wouldn't describe it as "dashing" in the common usage. But then, I don't think I've ever described anything as "dashing", so that wouldn't be too unusual. ;)

Dashing sounds odd to my ears and it definitely is not to be used by someone who has any humility. :p I make fun of the branding, but I do like the material. ;)

This one is sharp enough to cut a man....especially with those shoes, Eric. Very nice!
Thanks for the compliment.

Yesterday I recieved cap compliments that stood out; "Interesting cap," "Wearing a flower on your cap," and "Fancy cap."

Bespoke cap and vest, cut from the same piece of vintage Belgian linen and constructed on opposite sides of the earth… the vest in Buffalo, the hat in Australia. View attachment 428378
Love Keith's cap! The profile showcases the deep side profile and sun reflecting brim. The cap is classy.

Having the cap match the vest is just plain brilliant! The Belgian linen is an elegant fabric choice. The monochrome choices make your portrait very classy or effortlessly chic.

I am taking inspiration tonight.

Thanks for sharing, Eric -
