Hi all. This is my first time posting images, so I hope I'm doing it right. Today's cap is a Lawrence & Foster Ivy I picked up on vacation in the UK a few years ago. I believe they call this model the "Garforth." It's a nice, versatile workhorse cap. View attachment 331991 View attachment 331992 View attachment 331993
Not sure why it was made in Germany, it is a couple years old and only available from Stetson EU at the time. It is a nice blend of silk, and linen.@jonesy86
Why is it Made in Germany?? An older model?
I took my cobbler out for breakfast. On a visit last week we spoke about caps and I wore my Well Dressed Head "Wise Guy" cap to breakfast. He wore his wool English drivers cap.
I did leave a pair of shoes with him to have heels replaced and a rubber sole protector put on. These were done to the 40's spectators in order to gently wear them on adventures this spring or summer.
Cheers, Eric -
It's a sunny, if not especially warm, day here, so I broke out my Alfonso D'Este linen newsboy. I just got this about a month ago, so I'm looking forward to wearing this light, breathable cap during the hot days this summer.

Nice cap, Eric, but these spectators - fabulous!
That's a real pretty one, Eric! The sun is wanning this evening and I am about in a Cordova Cap. This lighter weight wool, Dashing Tweed, is grand for the 65' f "ish" evening.
Cheers, Eric -
