This is the best thing I've seen in a while. The jacket and shoes are great.

Darhling, is that the Vogue Pattern's version of the Roland Mouret "Galaxy" dress? It looks stunning on you. Also, I covet your shoes.

Thank you! It is a Vogue pattern, but I can't remember the model number. I do love my shoes to death, they make any outfit amazing!

Happy Easter, folks! This is one of the light weight suits I had made in Afghanistan last year - the tailor couldn't quite the the breast patch pocket angled right. 1940's tie, Allen-Edmonds Broadstreet shoes, and a very old boater made of some type of reeds - had to coat it with several layers of polyurethane varnish to keep it from deteriorating!

Thanks!! The tree is a "Saucer Magnolia" - this is the first year since we've lived here that the blossoms have not been killed by frost a day or two after blooming!

Yesterday, at the fund-raising arts festival at my daughter's school. I'm holding a clock Tony won in an auction; one of the teachers has a serious hobby of refurbishing them. We didn't realize this one chimed until we got it home.
Despite my hat and parasol, I still got a yucky sunburn on my chest. :(

Here's how I'm aging. This is my 7 month-old, Cosimo, & I at Easter brunch.

The picture in my avatar is me & my oldest son at Easter brunch, 2000...wearing the same 1950 gray gabardine suit & palm tree tie.
