I found this odd Pendleton shirt/jacket at the thrift store earlier this week and wore it for the first time today. Not sure what to make of it, but I like it. It's made of the same lightweight wool as Pendleton shirts, unlined except for the yoke across the back, and has cuffs like a shirt, but the lapels and pockets are styled like a jacket with jacket-size leather buttons. Any thoughts about dating it?

Those Pendleton shirt/jackets were really popular in the 60's & have been made pretty much the same to the present time - those earthy tones like yours were really popular in the earlier ones, though. I would say sometime in the 60's. One gent on the Lounge advised me to look on the label, and if it has the "Woolmark" logo, it was made after 1964.

Sproily, do you have a jacket to go with that outfit? I've been thinking about the sweater-tucked-in look after seeing it in old pictures, but haven't been sure how it would look. Looks good on you.

I found this shot in my archives recently. It's at least twelve years ago. I still have the hat, shirt and palm tree necktie, but I have no idea what ever happened to those beat-up saddles.....[huh]
