I think a lot of people have crushes on Clark, so you could do a lot worse. You could always be described as that twin Zan from the Superfriends cartoon. Lame-o!
hey, i'm not complaining! call me clark all you want people. :D

No vegetables to throw.

Nice trou.

But if you want some constructive criticism-
maybe your colour/pattern/texture-combining could be tweaked slightly.

I wouldn't have chosen such a patterned tie, or that shirt, in combination with the corduroy (colour and texture).
I would have tried to keep the ensemble in the *spectrum of the corduroy trou, because those trou are quite a statement in colour and texture (especially in the eyes of those who would never wear cords, or aren't at all adventurous).

In my mind- the shirt/tie combination you would wear with a "suit" would be different from that you would wear with an "odd" cord trouser.

I'm not a fan of wearing a tie with a shirt with a "feature pocket".

*I could make this a little clearer by saying: Choose "Town OR Country".
I think that is a kind of a "rule" for many people.

For example- a Tattersall check shirt and muted tie is pretty much foolproof with corduroy trou.

But then, my personal tastes are not always the same as everyone else's.

The A-1, is of course, ace!

'secretary' style again..

Ivory silk blouse by Zara
Dark grey 'legs forever' pencil skirt by Zara
leopard shoes to add a little fun to the outfit
Gervin Esprit couture seamed stockings with a pyramid heel (I know the seams aren't super straight, but I will only wear these after work so they got put on a bit fast just to show them with the outfit)
Black Epi leather bag from Vuitton
with an attached scarf from Dior

(this was before I did my hair & makeup so no face in the picture.. :) )

Thank you Spitfire, Dahrling. May I say everyone here looks amazing. I just don't feel qualified to make specific comments. You all do this thread great justice!:)

BT, Absolutely. Really, that's why I posted. I do see your points. I'm trying to "tighten up" my personal tastes. Thanks for your post!:)

thank you!! I have allways felt so short with very short legs, so this is a great compliment!

Darhling,
It's the quality not the quantity that counts. :)

Now I'm off to figure out how I'm going to finance a trip to sweep someone off their feet......

I couldn´t resist and went shopping today. Nothing is vintage, but I think it looks quite good. The photos are too dark, but the jacket is dark blue and the pants are grey with blue stripes. And what´s best - I got my first shirt with french cuffs! The waistcoat is a bit short, but the pants have quite a high waist, so I think it works.
