I like the silk knit tie look. I've never seen a tie like that or maybe I've just never noticed. The ones that I've seen to be rare are the ones with the hidden pinups on the inside part of the tie.

As for what I'm wearing today......
M-F are the days I have to wear a uniform with black pants, black shirt, and a black sweater. The only way I can be myself is through my shoe style, hairstyle and jewelry. My shoes are white ballet flats with a cap-toe. My hair is usually up in victory curls. At least on weekends I can wear anything I want. Can't wait till the weekend.

I tend to get the most compliments on it in real life from other ladies. :)

Do post a picture sometime in here.

That's what I wore today. I wore it with a white jacket and black fur muff. It's cold outside!

My alarm didn't go off so I lost 35minutes and had to get ready in a rush. So I didn't get a chance to do my hair :(

Hey Jovan......if I do put a pic up of what I'm wearing that day it would have to be from the weekend.....otherwise it's the usually black pants and black shirt. I miss my dresses during the weekdays.

lyburnum ---- I wish my hair looked that pretty when I'm rushing out the door. You're so cute!!! You have such a classy look.

Oh, please do indeed, young lady. You might find stepping back and watching us guys doing a passable imitation of sharks in a feeding-frenzy in our rush to praise amusing...;) and if that's you in your av, I'd expect the compliments to be coming from all directions in bulk quantities.:D ;)

Hi Diamondback. Thank you for making me blush

Haha, thanks! It's definitely become one of my favorites.

Do you guys think it works with the light grey trousers though? I figured I'd give it a shot today but I'm still on the fence as to whether it is a good combo or not.

Yeah, it gives you more of a mid-century look.

You forgot to say she is beautiful in general. :)

Lucky Strike: I don't think you have any problems with nice shoes!

Stanley: There's not a thing I can think of that grey doesn't work with.

I'm sorry, I don't remember. I do believe I've had it for over 10 years though. I had other plain snoods that I wasn't using and sold them off on ebay last year. I'm kinda sorry, because they had great packages, but they were plain hair snoods from the 1940's. However, I wasn't using them, so I figured it was better to pass them along (sigh). I'm not sure, but I think this is my last remaining snood in good condition. Hair snoods from the retro period are incredibly easy to break. Or maybe I'm just klutzy. :p

This was the first time I took this snood out of the package. If you are interested in more info, I shipped the hat and accessories back to my home to save on space in my luggage. I'd be happy to snap a picture when all the stuff arrives.
