Great suit jerekson - great shoes too. (But may I humbly suggest a tailor on the length of yor trouser);)

Oh, most certainly. A good cut and cuff should suffice.

Thanks!

The hat is a c. 1934 Stetson Air-light playboy
The jacket is a $5 thrift shop special. Probably not all that vintage, but I don't think it looks bad.
The tie is a vintage "Sherman silk bow"
The pants are LL bean
The white wingtip bucks are Bass

Nice outfit Dinnerman. And GwenLake it's great to see more and more younger people here on the Lounge.

Today I wear the same outfit that I wore the last three months: field boots, field trousers, field shirt and a black beret.

Awww, Mr. Diamondback, you sure know how to make a girl feel welcome. And dear Mr. Newman- it's great to be here!

Yay thrift stores!

Today my outfit is a disgrace to all things vintage, so I shall henceforth not mention it. In an effort to change my wicked ways, I'm wearing my most favoritest (yes, I know it's not a word, but humor me) earrings:
tri-amber starfish!

Prince of Wales check 30s/40s sports coat with pleated pockets and pleated/belted/shirred back.

1930s "Cavanaugh"-edge Borsalino. 2 1/4" brim and 5" crown (creased).

1940s blue herringbone trousers with light brown thin 30s/40s belt.

Shirt is Ralhp Lauren, and still going strong after 10 years and hundreds/thousands of washings. Very strong & thick twill fabric. A truly fantastic shirt.

Pardon the strange expression- 60s Ivy League gray flannel suit, black Johnston & Murphy shoes, 30s Mallory, 30s polk dotted black tie, tailor made white shirt with gray stripes.
I don't think you know how envious you've made me. Or maybe you do -- you know where my tastes lie.
