Good afternoon. Today I have been wearing a vintage 3 piece suit (Southwick, filene's mens store), vintage Borsolino tie, vintage black toe cap spade shoes and a vintage Stetson 3X Fifteen fedora.

Lovely suit Michael, you wear it well.

Sorry that I have been out of touch, I never realised how full time work, well almost full time, five or six hours a day, I never realised how work consumes a day. It's been wet and miserable recently, but yesterday afternoon and into the evening, the sun shone brightly. Tina & I went for a leisurely drive through the forest. It was a joy just to be out but Mother nature had a treat in store. A magnificent sunset.

Back home and while I was preparing the evening meal Tina was busy in her cabin. I left her a hot drink and told her that we will be eating soon. She just smiled, I'm guessing that there's a shirt on that old ironing board that doubles as a useful cutting out board.

Today I'm pondering on what to wear. Usually, I choose something and then wonder what accoutrements will go with it, but today it's the other way round. I'll let you know.

Thanks GHT. It's in my top five of favorite suits. You picked a sharp outfit to answer with. Great looking hat.

Today a little more casual with a Dunn and Co Harris Tweed jacket.

thanks Eric. It was a good day when the Dunn and Co turned up in my favorite vintage store.

You were really pulling out the stops this morning. Super outfit. Super style.

Morning errand found me wearing vintage spectators, tie and fedora. Modern Pendleton jacket and wool slacks completed the attire.

Cheers, Eric -

Those shoes are beautiful. Very rare these days to find perforated co-respondents; I wish someone would get on with these. I wear co-resps. most of the tiem in any normal Spring & Summer, but these are just outstanding. Leather shoes are my go-to in Summer for breathability, but perforated would be even better.

Vintage Pendleton jacket, Wembly tie, Stetson Playboy and Nunbush spectators were my choices for today's escapades.

Amazing shoes - perforated, or is that just pattern? I love the spade sole shape. Wish somebody would bring that back in so I could pick up a few pairs!

I get you. I often wake up with a hankering to wear a particular hat or shoes, then the whole outfit flows thereafter.... I've even dressed to a specific tie before.
